Speed Determines the Window

A golfer swinging 85 mph needs ~15° of launch and 2800 RPM of spin to maximize carry. A tour pro swinging 120 mph needs ~10° of launch and 2000 RPM of spin. The faster the ball speed, the more lift is generated, requiring lower spin to prevent ballooning.
